Rustic contemporary solid wood side table

Beautifully crafted solid occasional table with thick pedestal base. This table has some lovely characteristics round the outer of the table top showing the durability of the construction and also the quality of the materials it’s made from. Made in Malaysia in the early 90s putting this piece at approx 30 years old.

This would add some warm neutral styling to any space giving a nice pottery barn feel to its appearance. The grain pattern throughout the table top is stunning and so embellished using the wax for its new look.

This is a generously sized side table that would make a lovely talking point to any room.

I have sanded this piece in its entirety and completely removed the original finish. I’ve then applied a paint wash to tone the wood and give the browning wax something to grip to. The wax has a sealant within it so this piece is durable and protected to the longevity of its new look.
